Meet Eric
I have been teaching tennis for nearly 30 years. I started teaching group lessons for the Portland Tennis Center and, by the age of 18, I coached Junior Davis and Wightman Cup Teams. I continued teaching in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout college.

For the past 15 years, I have been teaching at Vermont Canyon Tennis Center in Griffith Park, as well as providing private lessons for clients at their homes.

My Approach to Teaching

Early on in our lessons, I find what teaching styple works best for you. I do this by analysis and talking one-on-one with you. I want to know what your goals are. I assess your strokes and movement.

In my opinion, the sign of a good teacher is to enhance your strengths, rather than change everything about your game. I love to incorporate drills and match play into almost every lesson.

As a USPTR Certified Instructor, it is my mission to make sure every lesson is a fun, dynamic, creative, and challenging experience.

I strive to bring out your very best in every lesson.
